Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Lavish Event Arrangements (“Lavish,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use this website and book a rental, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you make a booking, we collect:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Delivery details — the delivery address you provide, and the approximate map coordinates and distance we calculate from it to quote your delivery fee.
- Order details — the items, event date, prices, taxes, and the policy/waiver versions in effect at checkout.
- Rental agreement — the name you type to sign the rental agreement / liability waiver, and the date and time you signed.
- Payment information — your card payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we keep a Stripe payment reference so we can match and refund your deposit.
We do not require an account to book. If you are an administrator of this site, we store your login email to manage access.
How we use it
- To take, confirm, deliver, and pick up your rental.
- To calculate delivery distance and fees, taxes, and your deposit and balance.
- To contact you about your booking (confirmation, scheduling, changes).
- To process your deposit and any refund through Stripe.
- To keep a record of the rental agreement you signed.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — to process payments and refunds.
- A geocoding service — to convert your delivery address into coordinates for the distance calculation.
- Our hosting and database providers — to operate the site.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & local storage
The site keeps your cart in your browser's local storage so it persists between pages. Administrators have a login session cookie. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep booking records (including the signed rental agreement and order details) so we can service your rental, honor refunds, and keep accurate business records. We do not currently run an automated deletion schedule. You may request deletion of your personal information — see Data Retention and contact us below.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons). Contact us at the details on our Contact page.
Children
Our service is intended for adults booking events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always posted here.
